Dissemination and Implementation of Suicide Research in the Department of Defense: Perspective from the Military Suicide Research Consortium

We are pleased to announce the publication Dissemination and Implementation of Suicide Research in the Department of Defense: Perspective from the Military Suicide Research Consortium, which describes the development and approach of dissemination and implementation within the Military Suicide Research Consortium (MSRC). The publication discusses several dissemination and implementation initiatives that can be applied by other funding institutions and DoD consortia. These initiatives include the creation of integrated clinical implementation outcome summaries and action briefs to facilitate researchers communicating their intervention and its empirical support to stakeholders (e.g., leadership, providers, service members). Highlighted are several important considerations for dissemination and implementation of new scientific findings by research funding organizations that may ultimately improve research efforts aiming to support service members.
