Dissemination and Implementation

For those who are new to the science of implementation, we recommend watching "Introduction to Implementation Science: What is it, & why should I care?" presented by Mark S. Bauer, MD at the University of Washington, Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, Grand Rounds on March 4, 2016.

Launched in April 2022, Core D started a new training program:Outcomes to Military Implementation Scholars Program (OMISP)

You may also wish to peruse The Society for Implementation Research Collaboration (SIRC) D & I Introductory Resources for Novices, for a compilation of key papers, books and videos on the topic. The Society for Implementation Research Collaboration (SIRC) is a society dedicated to facilitating communication and collaboration between implementation research teams, researchers, and community providers. Anyone interested in implementation of Evidence Based Psychosocial Interventions (EBPIs) is welcome to join SIRC.

The MSRC Dissemination Science Institute May 14-15, 2019 brought together dissemination experts, suicide prevention researchers (especially those with MSRC-funded studies), and leadership from the DoD and other large health systems for didactics and discourse on how to best communicate key research findings and their associated recommendations for changes to policy and practice.
